It is a plug-in hybrid that allows you to drive around 25 or so miles on a full charge and when the charge runs out the gas motor kicks in and you keep driving on the gas motor just like you always have done. Get back home and plug it in and you will have another 25 miles on the battery the next morning. So if you work 10 miles away from home you can drive back and forth to work and not use any gas.
